SPEECHES AND PRESENTATIONS FOR YOUR GROUP

You're planning a meeting, program, conference, luncheon, dinner or some other function and you'd like to have a speaker or presenter.  This is always a bit of a hassle because it's difficult to know what you're getting. You may be unsure if your group will relate to the speaker or the message or both. You've had presenters before and some have been better than others. You're looking for something informative, entertaining or maybe even both.

We have been working with groups for about 25 years and have delivered numerous speeches, classes, presentations, workshops, seminars and discussion sessions in a wide variety of settings. We have selected several of our most popular subjects and prepared them into 45-60 minute speeches. These can also be easily adapted into a two-three hour interactive, application sessions if you like.  All presentations are informative, educational and entertaining. We tailor each presentation to your specific group so the messages become personal and useful.  The topics are well suited for both personal and professional purposes.  Each speech/presentation is accompanied by audio-visual aids to enhance the message. The titles and a brief description of each speech/presentation are offered below.

WHAT'S YOUR PARADIGM?

This presentation relates the importance of paradigms to how people think and act in personal and professional settings.  Paradigms are explained and a number of business, professional and personal examples are offered.  Examples are modified according to the specific audience so the message is tailored to your group's needs. The audience comes away knowing how to improve their relationships and performance by understanding both their own paradigms and those of others.

MAKE YOUR OWN BREAK

College students searching for their first official job or people making a career change will enjoy this presentation. Proven personal selling techniques are applied to the process of obtaining a career position. Making contacts, presenting oneself and follow-up work are some of the techniques discussed.  This is especially well suited to a two-three hour interactive session so participants can apply the techniques to their unique situation.

UNDERSTANDING OUR PERCEPTIONS

Many audiences find this speech/presentation to be extremely entertaining. The speech takes a light-hearted look at how  perceptions are formed and what they mean to   personal and professional relationships. Most participants have enjoyed this very important message without realizing they have obtained valuable insights they will use for a very long time.

WE'RE ALL GARDENERS

The process of cultivating  positive relationship with our friends, family and co-workers may be the most important activity in our lives. It may also be the most challenging just because it is so important. This speech/presentation helps us understand how to develop solid, long-lasting relationships by using home gardening as an analogy. A very informative and entertaining presentation that fits in a wide assortment of settings.

EXCEEDING EXPECTATIONS

This presentation works especially well in marketing and customer service settings. It also applies to personal relationships. The audience learns the importance of expectations and how they are related to satisfaction in business and personal relationships. How are expectations formed? What happens when they are met or unmet? These are some of the questions addressed in this speech/presentation.

PRODUCTIVITY, PROFIT AND YOU

Everyone thinks that they understand what productivity is and how it affects the bottom line.  However, they are not so sure how their actions and those of others affect the profitability and viability of their company. This presentation defines their role and demonstrates how their actions and the expectations of other stakeholders affect not just the profitability of their company but also their own job satisfaction and security. The presentation can be customized to a particular company or industry, and depending on the level of responsibility of the participants, can be presented on various levels of sophistication. Depending on the time allotted to the presentation, business finance can be contrasted to personal finance with examples and interactive exercises.

THE COMEDY OF THE MARX BROTHERS

SO YOU WANT TO RETIRE RICH

The savings rates in the United States average between 3-5% of persons' after-tax income while those rates in many of the developed economies with whom the U.S. competes are three to four times higher. Shown are examples of how families should start their programs as early as possible, simple methods that work, and the benefits of deferred income and pension plans.

THE ECONOMY AND YOUR INVESTMENT CHOICES

We all receive considerable advice on our investment choices, much of which comes uninvited. Most investment advice comes from someone who is trying to sell us a new approach or investment opportunity. Although most of what we are told is worthless, there are some well-established guides to the selection of investments and the state of the economy. In this presentation, these guidelines are discussed relative to the existing and projected economic conditions.
